Full job description

Reporting to the Assistant Director of Rooms, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

  • Deliver linens, towels, amenities, and supplies promptly to guest rooms and housekeeping staff during the evening shift.
  • Respond quickly to ALICE/radio requests and ensure all guest and team needs are fulfilled in a timely manner.
  • Restock housekeeping closets and carts to support room attendants and house attendants.
  • Collect soiled linen and trash from guest floors and transport to designated areas.
  • Maintain service hallways, storage rooms, and closets in clean, organized condition.
  • Assist with evening turndown or special guest requests when required.
  • Perform sanitation of all guestroom glassware and china.
  • Maintain the gym, gym lockers, and gym restrooms clean, sanitized, and organized.
  • Report any maintenance issues, guest concerns, or safety hazards immediately to a supervisor.
  • Uphold all hotel grooming, safety, and service standards.
  • Previous Housekeeping experience an asset
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
