A Day in the Life

The Finance Director, Global Service & Repair, will serve as the senior finance partner to the Global Service & Repair leadership team and lead the transformation of the organization’s financial operating model.

This leader will be responsible for delivering financial insights, strengthening forecasting and performance management, improving profitability, and establishing consistent financial processes across regions and business units. The Finance Director will also lead a multi-year transformation agenda focused on standardization, automation, data integrity, governance, and the development of scalable finance capabilities.

The successful candidate will be a strategic, enterprise-minded transformation leader who can translate complex financial and operational information into clear decisions, mobilize teams across a global matrix, and drive sustainable change without relying on direct authority.

  • Strategic Finance Leadership: Serve as the primary finance partner to Global Service & Repair leadership, translating business strategy into financial priorities that drive growth, profitability, investment returns, and effective resource allocation.
  • Finance Transformation: Lead the transformation of Global Service & Repair Finance by standardizing processes, simplifying ways of working, and expanding the use of automation, analytics, and artificial intelligence across regions.
  • Financial Planning and Performance Management: Lead planning, forecasting, and performance reviews while improving financial predictability and providing executive-ready insights into results, risks, opportunities, and required actions.
  • Revenue, Margin and Cost Management: Partner with commercial and operational leaders to improve revenue, margin, pricing, cost-to-serve, warranty performance, and overall business profitability.
  • Data, Reporting and Controls: Strengthen data quality, financial reporting, governance, and controls by establishing consistent definitions, reporting structures, and trusted sources of information.
  • Enterprise Leadership: Influence and align stakeholders across the global matrix.
  • People Leadership: Build and lead a high performing global finance team with strong business partnership, analytical, transformation, and execution capabilities.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 10+ years of progressive finance, accounting, FP&A, commercial finance, operations finance, or business leadership experience (or advanced degree with 8+ years)
  • 7+ years of managerial experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree or certification preferred
  • Experience leading large-scale finance, business, process, data, or technology transformation
  • Experience managing or supporting a global service, aftermarket, recurring-revenue, or customer-support business.
  • Strong financial planning, forecasting, performance management, and business partnering skills
  • Experience supporting global businesses within complex, matrixed organizations
  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders and drive results across teams
  • Experience leading and developing high-performing teams
  • Strong executive communication and presentation skills
  • Experience in healthcare, medical technology, manufacturing, field service, or other regulated industries
  • Familiarity with ERP systems, financial planning tools, business intelligence, and data governance
