Job Summary:
As a Production Supervisor I, you’ll lead a team in one of our manufacturing areas while learning the fundamentals of aerospace operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems, working with people, and wants to grow into an operations leader. You’ll partner with engineering, quality, operations, facilities, and supply chain while learning how world-class aerospace products are built.
You’ll have the opportunity to:
- Lead and support a team of manufacturing employees (10-15 people)
- Learn how to manage production schedules and meet customer commitments
- Develop your leadership style through coaching and mentoring employees
- Work alongside engineering and quality teams to solve real manufacturing challenges
- Use Lean Manufacturing tools and participate in Kaizen events
- Drive continuous improvement projects that improve safety, quality, and efficiency
- Learn how aerospace products move from raw material to finished product
- Build experience making staffing, scheduling, and operational decisions

We’re looking for people who have:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree
- Experience: 2+ years of experience leading teams. Experiences could be related to an internship, co-op, campus leadership, athletics, military service, retail, food service, or other leadership experience.
- Knowledge: Intermediate skill level with MS Office.
- Skills, Abilities: Strong communication (written and verbal) with all levels of business; ability to present to groups both small and large, effective problem-solving skills; desire to learn and grow as a leader; positive attitude and willingness to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Eligibility Requirement: This position may require access to Controlled Data or Information. Where the position requires such access only US Persons will be considered. As a US Department of Defense contractor, we are bound by International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous supervisory experience within an aerospace or electronics manufacturing environment
- Basic understanding of manufacturing based continuous improvement skills (standard work, 5S, material replenishment, etc.)
Work Conditions:
- Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment
- Manufacturing operations may require the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to eye safety glasses, gowning, masks, hearing protectors, heel/wrist straps and any other required PPE
- May be exposed to unusual environmental conditions such as loud noises, cold temperatures, confined spaces, dust or fumes
- Standing: 25% *percentage is approximate and may vary depending on work task

- Lifting (in pounds): up to 25 pounds

Salary Range: $87,765 - $111,264 Annual USD
