Position Summary:
The Clinical Education Coordinator is responsible for supporting the training, competency assessment and continuing education programs for testing, non-testing, and/or non-clinical personnel at Guardant Health. The Clinical Education Coordinator must exhibit leadership skills, such as good judgment, sound analysis, decision making, ability to remain professional and composed under pressure, effective interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate across all levels of the laboratory and across departments.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform timely completion of daily priorities workflows in conjunction with training assignment creation, documentation organization, review and/or routing, and troubleshooting.
- Identify and troubleshoot initial training or competency documentation inquiries or content in question.
- Monitor upcoming training or competency assessment due dates by representative departments and send out notifications as needed.
- Understand training programs by team or department and required training documentation by each competency evaluation component.
- Set up training plan coordination by preparing competency assessment form templates, monitor competency documentation completion, and follow-up with operators regarding training timelines.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- At least one year of Guardant Health Clinical Laboratory experience or equivalent high complexity and volume laboratory experience preferred;
- Bachelor of Arts or Science in Clinical Science, Education, or related field preferred;
- Experience with Microsoft Office suite, and/or Smartsheets, and/or Salesforce for business use;
- Working knowledge of local, state, and federal laboratory regulations preferred;
- Able to integrate and apply feedback in a professional manner;
- Ability to work as part of a team; and
- Ability to proactively communicate consistently, clearly, and honestly.
Work Environment:
- Hours and days may vary depending on operational needs;
- Standing or sitting for long periods of time may be necessary;
- May be exposed to hazardous materials, blood specimens and instruments with moving parts, heating or freezing elements and high-speed centrifugation;
- Manual and repetitive pipetting may be necessary; and
- Some lifting (up to 25 pounds) may be necessary.

The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below. This range does not include benefits or, if applicable, bonus, commission, or equity. Each candidate’s compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, education, job-related skills, job duties, and business need.

Primary Location: Redwood City, CA
Primary Location Base Pay Range: $67,300 - $92,550
Other US Location(s) Base Pay Range: $57,205 - $78,668
If the role is performed in Colorado, the pay range for this job is: $60,570 - $83,295 Employee may be required to lift routine office supplies and use office equipment. Majority of the work is performed in a desk/office environment; however, there may be exposure to high noise levels, fumes, and biohazard material in the laboratory environment. Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
