Section Manager Sales Support - CRB Portfolio Specialist Team — Columbus, OH

Summary:

Manages through the daily activities for a functional area in addition to having direct reports. Oversight is available and sweeping decisions would not be made independently in this role. Firm understanding of team's pipeline and assist direct reports as needed to ensure work product is getting completed within SLAs. A Section Manager I also serves as a subject matter expert for the team and will occasionally work in production as needed.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• 50% - Ensures Business Banking production of business loans with established Production, SLA & Quality goals, which includes the assignment of work to functional area team members. Prepares, maintains and/or monitors reports in compliance with corporate and regulatory requirements.
• 10% - Act as primary back up for their manager as needed for team huddles & meetings.
• 10% - Resolves the more complex working problems.
• 10% -Perform or review Quality Reviews for all colleagues on the team.
• 10% - Reviews and recommends new methods and procedures to make the area more efficient.
• 10% - Tasks as needed to support the line of business and job family.

Basic Qualifications:

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent
• 3+years’ experience with business or commercial lending in a centralized lending environment. Previous management experience is not required but preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate or Bachelor's degree
