Full job description
The Golf Housekeeping Attendant is responsible for maintaining exceptional cleanliness,
organization, and presentation standards across all golf facilities and public areas. This role plays
a vital part in supporting the daily operation of the Golf Department by ensuring all spaces are
consistently guest-ready and aligned with luxury standards. Through attention to detail, efficiency,
and a service-focused approach, this position contributes directly to the overall member and
guest experience.
Responsibilities
- Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and service across all golf-related public and employee areas
- Maintain assigned areas including, but not limited to: restrooms, locker rooms, offices, public walkways, restaurant patios, and practice/range facilities
- Routinely inspect, clean, sanitize, and restock all common areas throughout the day, including vanities, towels, and guest supplies
- Ensure public and back-of-house restrooms are consistently maintained to luxury hospitality standards
- Follow established cleaning procedures and departmental standards; support continuous improvement efforts
- Assist with special projects, deep cleaning, and event setup/cleanup as needed
- Maintain, organize, and properly store all cleaning equipment and supplies
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with the distribution and replenishment of supplies
- Identify, document, and report maintenance needs or safety concerns in a timely manner
- Adhere to all safety, sanitation, and chemical handling standards in accordance with
- OSHA guidelines
- Provide a professional, courteous, and service-oriented presence to members, guests, and colleagues
- Remain attentive and responsive to operational needs, demonstrating ownership of assigned areas
- Collaborate with golf operations and other departments to ensure seamless daily operations
- Perform additional duties as assigned by Golf management
- High School graduate or equivalent is preferred.
- Previous experience of one year is preferred.
- Understand and comply with all company and departmental rules and regulations, policies and procedures.
- Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with staff and guests.
- Able to communicate both written and verbally.
- Reading and counting is essential.
- Requires basic knowledge of housekeeping
- Needs to have an aptitude to promote minimum levels of skills and abilities that would create a positive outcome, in a hot and challenging work environment.
- Must have ability to work with others to create attention to detail, speed, accuracy, follow-through, courtesy, cooperativeness and work with minimum supervision.
- Must have ability to secure minimum levels of skills and abilities that would allow for a proficient job orientation based on specific tasks and methods. This is to provide a safe working environment according to OSHA regulations that would protect both the employee and coworkers.
Physical Demands:
- Ability to stand while working.
- Ability to bend, kneel or squat.
- Wrist dexterity.
- Pushing/pulling up to 30 lbs.
- Must be able to lift minimum of 50 pounds
- Repetitive movement of arm at shoulder and both hands.
- Ability to reach with hands and arms.
- Ability to twist neck.
- Ability to lift/carry.
