Compensation: $38.14-$42.14 per hour
Job Overview
This is an entry level position for qualified candidates who will gain experience while working under the supervision of the QA lead. The Associate QA Engineer will participate in the analysis, plan, and test, modification and integration of software systems or subsystems for designated products and/or customer applications.
Roles & Responsibilities
- This is an entry level position for qualified candidates who will gain experience while working under the supervision of the QA lead.
- Learn new technologies and quality assurance methodologies and practice.
- Participate in the analysis, plan, and test, modification and integration of software systems or subsystems for designated products and/or customer applications.
- Understand Business requirements, and translate that into a testing strategy
- Create Test cases and categorize them in the test management system covering all paths
- Perform functional testing
- Perform Preventative testing
- Perform Regression testing
- Capable of performing API Testing
- Report findings and be the gate for quality
- Collaborate with other team members in an agile/scrum methodology
- Write automation tests
- Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Education/Experience:
Computer Science or Information technology degree or successful completion of software bootcamp.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Knowledge of QA theory and practices
Knowledge of programming languages used in Automation: Java Script
Knowledge of Test Automation tools
Ability to analyze business requirements and create functional test scripts to validate business requirements.
