The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise with a builder's mindset. You'll thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, enjoy solving complex global challenges, and be excited to create scalable systems that support the next phase of Higgsfield's growth.

What You'll Do

Tax Leadership

  • Own Higgsfield's global tax strategy across U.S. federal, state, local, and international jurisdictions.
  • Lead the quarterly and annual tax provision process in accordance with ASC 740.
  • Oversee all direct and indirect tax compliance, including income tax, sales and use tax, VAT/GST, transfer pricing, and international reporting.
  • Partner with external advisors to ensure timely filings while continuously improving internal processes and mitigating tax risk.
  • Develop strategies to optimize the company's global tax position while supporting continued international expansion.
  • Lead tax planning initiatives related to legal entity structure, intellectual property, financing activities, and new business initiatives.
  • Support tax audits, regulatory inquiries, and evolving global tax requirements.

Treasury & Cash Management

  • Own the company's global treasury strategy, including liquidity planning, cash forecasting, and working capital management.
  • Manage domestic and international banking relationships while evaluating new banking products and treasury solutions.
  • Oversee global cash positioning, investments, foreign exchange exposure, and payment operations.
  • Develop treasury policies, internal controls, and scalable processes that support a rapidly growing global organization.
  • Partner with Accounting to manage debt, investments, and intercompany funding strategies.

Strategic Finance Partnership

  • Partner cross-functionally with Finance, Legal, Accounting, FP&A, and executive leadership on strategic initiatives.
  • Support fundraising activities, corporate structuring, M&A transactions, and international expansion from a tax and treasury perspective.
  • Evaluate the tax implications of new products, partnerships, and commercial initiatives.
  • Build scalable internal controls and documentation to support future audit, SOX, and public company readiness.
  • Drive continuous process improvements through automation, systems implementations, and operational excellence.

What We're Looking For

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in corporate tax, treasury, or finance leadership.
  • CPA required; MST or other advanced tax credential preferred.
  • Combination of Big 4 public accounting and in-house technology company experience strongly preferred.
  • Deep expertise in U.S. corporate taxation, ASC 740, international tax, transfer pricing, and indirect tax.
  • Experience leading treasury operations, cash forecasting, liquidity management, and banking relationships.
  • Strong understanding of multinational corporate structures and global finance operations.
  • Experience supporting M&A transactions, entity structuring, and international expansion.
  • Proven ability to build and scale finance processes in a high-growth environment.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to influence executive stakeholders.
