The Sr. Manager, Merchandising Project Manager will oversee a wide variety of merchandising initiatives and operation projects from conceptual design through implementation. This role will work and partner closely with all essential key stakeholders along with in-house experts on each project to maximize resources and efficiency.
The role will be responsible for providing project planning and management for established Merchandising approved projects. The position will work with IT on the provision of technical project planning and management of projects and/or initiatives working with Operations, Supply Chain, NSVM, Marketing and other business partners ensuring that projects and/or initiatives are in line with Merchandising plans and priorities. The associate is expected to make sure selected projects and initiatives are executed within the time frame that is allocated to them, and that they fall within the organization’s budget.
This role will set standards for each project the Merchandising team embarks on and monitors the input of different teams within the organization to ensure effective and efficient delivery of the project as planned. The role will also be responsible for all kinds of project management functions, including project planning, scheduling, risk management, resource management and both internal and external communications.

- Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree
- 3-5 years of relevant working experience in a project management setting
- Any other certification would be a plus.
Your Day Consists Of
- Managing projects with top-down oversight throughout the entire execution to ensure success as defined by the scope, budget, and timeline.
- Developing comprehensive project plans that merge customer requirements with company goals and coordinating various managers and technical personnel during all project phases, from initial development through implementation.
- Ensuring all required projects are completed and reviewed while identifying, clarifying, and communicating project vision(s) and/or objective(s), and demonstrating how they align with, enhance, or inhibit those vision(s) and/or objective(s).
- Communicating proactively with all involved personnel to provide encouragement, identify problems, create solutions, and implement efficiency improvements.
- Leading, monitoring, and motivating teams across the company while interacting with staff at all levels of the organization.
- Creating and managing management methods, communication plans, and processes.
- Analyzing, planning, and developing procedures while performing other management and technical duties.
- Defining project scope, roles, responsibilities, and stakeholder expectations.
- Managing complex problems while developing processes for scheduling and administration.
- Providing process improvement recommendations focused on finding innovative solutions to solve today's problems with tomorrow's challenges in mind.
- Developing a deep understanding of the interrelationships among systems across the company.
- Travel may be required including air and car travel
- The noise level in the work environment is typically quiet to moderate.
PHYSICAL/SENSORY REQUIREMENTS
Sedentary Work – Ability to exert 10 - 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.
