Manager, Mainstreet Marketing Claims (Hybrid)
Capital One, a Fortune Magazine “100 Best Companies to Work For,” is seeking an innovative Manager to own marketing operations strategy for card & application claims. This individual will lead transforming how marketing claims are managed, adopting the latest tools and platforms to minimize risk and enable self service. This role will be responsible for influencing the destination state of claims management technology to drive maximum value for the business. The marketer will be a member of the Mainstreet Product Marketing team which is responsible for managing the product positioning for credit cards & application experiences, developing acquisition journeys to help customers find the right product for their lifestyle.

- Champion claims library platform, developing processes to enable adoption of the tool across Mainstreet
- Partner with legal and business teams to ensure claim documentation, substantiations are thorough and current
- Represent the business’ interests in evolving claim legal guidance, building out claim risk rubrics to enable experimentation
- Provide channels claim recommendations and consult on claim executions
- Serve as an escalation point, guiding the business through claim pull downs and changes
- Partner with Product team to automate manual functions, such as auditing marketing claims across channels and notifying partners of claim changes
- Leverage documented legal and business guidance to enable claim iteration at scale
- Solve for claim performance tracking, building a centralized feedback loop to inform future claim development

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Military Experience
- At least 5 years of experience in product marketing or multi-channel digital marketing
- At least 5 years of experience working with cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment with a track record of effectively working autonomously and navigating ambiguity
- At least 3 years of experience working with marketing tech platforms, including content management platforms
Preferred Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Marketing, Business or Communications
- At least 3 years of experience in marketing for financial services or another highly regulated industry
- At least 3 years of experience managing marketing intent, partnering with insights and channel teams to develop marketing strategies
