Forklift Operator 2nd Shift at 109 Clayton Supply Inc. — Morristown, TN

POSITION DESCRIPTION

• The Shipper/ Receiver position is responsible for the safe, timely, and accurate handling of ordered items, as well as placing all incoming materials in their assigned areas throughout the plant

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in loading/unloading of trucks, inspecting materials for quality, and signing packing slips
• Follow all check-in and storage requirements as outlined in the receiving handbook
• Ability to properly notate paperwork for shipping purposes

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED

• Previous Forklift Experience Preferred
• Ability to solve problems
• Strong communication skills

• Frequently required to stand, walk, use hands to handle or feel, reach with hands
• and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
• Frequently required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• Excellent peripheral and close-range vision abilities required, including close-range and excellent peripheral vision
