About The Opportunity
Manage all aspects of the warehouse (on-site and off-site) including inventory control and distribution, to ensure proper inventory levels and timely shipments of customer orders.Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Oversee salaried shift supervisors on three shifts
- Lead the day-to-day operations of the shipping and receiving department.
- Assist in managing inventory control programs across all material types to ensure accurate inventory and drive inventory reductions.
- Oversee the shipping and receiving functions to optimize flow while facilitating a working warehouse and off-site warehouse, when applicable.
- Facilitate and execute continuous improvement activities.
Other duties as assigned.

Education/Certification
Level Required: High school diploma or equivalent
Level Desired: Bachelor’s Degree
APICS CPIM
Work Experience
Required: 5-10 years of relevant work experience
Desired: 2-5 years of experience in leadership
- Ability to handle the stress of working with others
- Ability to be available outside of normal work hours
- Ability to cover supervisory absenteeism/position vacancy on any shift as needed
- Ability to assess employee performance and coach and develop others
- Ability to lead by example
- Ability to interact and communicate effectively with a wide variety of roles
- Ability to use and influence organizational policies, standards and procedures guiding manufacturing practices
- Ability to effectively manage the business relationship and transactions with the suppliers of raw materials or product components
- Knowledge of the processes, tools, and operational considerations for effective and efficient movement of goods and materials throughout the warehouse
- Ability to effectively and professionally communicate with customers, vendors, peers and subordinates
- Knowledge of methods, accepted practices, considerations and regulatory requirements associated with safety and protection of the employees, environment and site
