DUTIES: Deliver high-quality software for embedded controls systems in the electrification space, specifically for High Voltage Energy Transfer. Design, develop, and implement Physics and Controls requirements to continuously improve software for mechatronic controls, diagnostics strategies, and controller communication. Utilize automated test tools in build environments, test benches, and vehicles to verify functionality at the Controller, System, and Vehicle level. Embrace BDD (Behavior Driven Development) and TDD (Test-Driven Development) software development methodologies to ensure Software Built-In Quality, promote early bug detection, and facilitate collaboration between developers, testers, and non-technical stakeholders. Hybrid Work Policy - 3 days In-office, 2 days remote - Must be able to report to local office. Multiple positions available.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field of study and Five (5) years of experience as a Software Engineer, Controls Engineer, or related occupation. Alternatively, the employer will accept a Master's degree in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field of study and Three (3) years of experience as a Software Engineer, Controls Engineer, or related occupation. Three (3) years of experience with: C programming; and Embedded controls and controls and software development. Two (2) years of experience with: Matlab Simulink; and Electrified vehicles controls, Software, and hardware.
