Full job description
As an Analyst, you will be at the forefront of scientific discovery, playing a vital role in transforming complex biological data into meaningful insights. Working alongside a dynamic team of scientists, you will support the development and validation of innovative analytical methods, and deliver high-quality, timely data that drives critical decision-making in drug development. Responsibilities and Duties
- Conduct routine sample analysis in compliance with established protocols.
- Perform method development and method validation (MD/MV) activities.
- Interpret analytical data using platforms such as Watson and Chromeleon.
- Maintain laboratory cleanliness and ensure adherence to safety standards.
- Review standard operating procedures (SOPs) for accuracy and relevance.
- Facilitate effective intra-site communication to support team collaboration.
- Participate in laboratory investigations to identify and resolve issues.
- Operate laboratory automation systems to support analytical workflows.
- Conduct peer reviews to ensure data integrity and compliance.
- Manage laboratory inventory to ensure availability of necessary supplies.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience:
- B.S. in chemistry or biology with at least one year of direct laboratory experience
- B.S/B.A in a related science with at least three years of direct laboratory experience or Five years of direct laboratory experience or
- Equivalent combination of related education and required work experience will be considered with management approval.
Skills & Abilities:
- Good organizational skills.
- Displays versatility and accuracy performing laboratory operations, some of which may be difficult and/or non-routine.
- Ability to use a computer to compile and maintain databases for records and inventory, utilizing the appropriate software.
- An attitude for quality, an eye for detail, the ability to follow written instructions and work with a minimum of supervision.
