Full job description
Candidates must possess an advanced to expert understanding of quality processes (Internal Procedures, ISO 9001, etc.). Must meets or exceed all provisions of a DSQR Apprentice requirements or demonstrates ability to fulfill all job-related duties. Must be able to use various precision equipment as prescribed in Inspection Levels I and II, perform all forms of mechanical inspection, and provide technical assistance to subordinate inspectors, QEs, and MEs when required.
- Safety-minded and adheres to all company policies and practices and safe work habits. Actively involved in identifying safety issues, making suggestions, and implementing safety improvements.
- Controls customer-certified stamps by QWI 8.5.2.1 Stamp Control Procedure
- Review all manufacturing sequences of operations to ensure all operations have been completed in compliance with customer requirements and internal QMS requirements
- Accurately and efficiently reviews and validates product and paperwork compliance
- Maintains positive internal and external customer relationships and communicates professionally
- Releases product with minimal escapes
- Ability to prepare, execute and submit AS9102 FAI’s per customer portal requirements
- Processes non-conformities
- Must be flexible in work schedule to accommodate the company's needs. Follows through on commitments. Commits to long hours when necessary to reach goals.
- Participate/Assist with MRB
- Participate in FEMA, PFEMA, PPAP, and other APQP-related teams.
- Meets productivity and accuracy of work standards, completes work promptly, and strives to improve productivity
- Proactively identifies opportunities for process improvement: to improve efficiency, safety, quality, production, and cost. Presents solutions, not problems. Owns implementation of the solutions.

- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear.
- The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus.

Education and/or Experience
- Meets/Exceeds all provisions of a DSQR Apprentice requirements or demonstrates ability to fulfill all job-related duties.
- Minimum six months experience in FAST preferred.
- Possesses AS13001 Certification.
- Possesses and maintains:
- 3 weighted points in Group A (DSQR Authority requiring Customer approval– must include GE or PWC)
- 1 weighted point in Group B (DSQR Authority requiring STS approval)
- Proficient and received Inspection stamp in most related value stream.
