Work Shift:
Job Description
Manage and support the patient satisfaction program (HCAHPS). Act as a liaison between the housekeeping (EVS) department, nursing, and other departments to provide excellent care for all patients.
Responsibilities
Patient Advocate
- Wage: $13/hour
- Full-time and part-time positions available
- Day shifts available
- Background check, drug screen, and proof of employment eligibility required
Responsibilities
- Monitor patient satisfaction scores and assess action plans for improvement
- Provide department leadership with weekly reports and a detailed review
- Create reports, monitor trends, and implement action plans
- Round on patients to assess satisfaction and set service expectations
- Perform service recovery as needed to resolve issues
- Assist department leadership in training and reinforce communication skills (AIDET) with team members
- Collaborate with the guest services department to align action items to improve patient satisfaction
- Assist team members and management as needed to help the department operate efficiently
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Communicate effectively and work well in a team environment
- Friendly, outgoing, and engaging personality
- Excellent professional written and verbal communication skills
- Organized with an eye for detail
- Must practice good personal hygiene, be neatly groomed, and be in uniform
- GED or high school diploma
- Preferred: Housekeeping experience (cleaning, environmental services, custodian, janitorial, room attendant, floor care technician, hotel operations, patient care, patient experience, healthcare)
