Purpose:

The Senior Analyst, Vendor Master Data, as part of the Finance Shared Services organization is responsible for governance and maintenance of Vendor Master data globally for the organization. The Analyst will work with business requestors and various process owners to maintain proper and up-to-date information on Vendor Master as per AbbVie data standards. This role will ensure compliance with the process within the established SLAs, and adherence to established practices, procedures and policies.

Responsibilities

  • Knowledge/Experience of S4 SAP system with Vendor Master and PTP processes required.
  • As a member of the US Vendor Master Data team, will collaborate with Procurement, Accounts Payable, Treasury and business users to ensure proper and authenticated vendors are onboarded and maintained.
  • Verify documentation received for onboarding new vendors and updates to existing Vendor Master data.
  • Should have good analytical skills in analyzing the data.
  • Proficient in MS office tools especially Excel.
  • Prepare documentation and work instructions for any process improvements relating to any of the current vendor maintenance systems like Ariba, DSP and SAP and future applications like Coupa Supplier Information Management
  • Support additional functions within the Vendor Master Data team.
  • Address any queries from business requestors in relation to Vendor Master data.
  • Respond to escalation requests from business users.
  • Provide strict adherence to AbbVie processes and established SLAs for the process.
  • Knowledge/Experience of SAP Ariba and DSP systems is preferred.
  • Experience in Project management skills is preferred.
  • Excellent teamwork, interpersonal, communication, organization, and decision-making skills.
  • Good time management with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Should be flexible to work in multiple time zones as needed.
  • Significant Work Activities -Continuous sitting for prolonged periods (more than 2 consecutive hours in an 8 hour day)

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required. Bachelor’s degree in finance or Accounting preferred.
  • 6+ years of relevant experience in Finance or Accounting.
  • Strong communication skills and customer support.
  • Proficient Excel skills required.
  • The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this roleat the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on manyfactors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.
