As a Production Supervisor, you will:

  • Utilize your manufacturing knowledge to understand and support production processes, equipment, and product flow.
  • Drive key performance metrics including safety, quality, machine efficiency, labor efficiency, and on-time delivery.
  • Balance operational priorities with employee coaching, development, and engagement.
  • Support capacity planning and staffing activities to meet customer demands and production schedules.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements that drive operational excellence.
  • Provide guidance on staffing, training, performance management, and employee relations.
  • Support and engage with forklift operators and production associates to ensure safe and efficient operations.
  • Use critical thinking and sound judgment to make decisions, take ownership of outcomes, and drive accountability within the team.
  • Manage workforce administration responsibilities such as timekeeping, attendance tracking, vacation approvals, and employee scheduling.
  • Utilize systems such as SAP and Microsoft Office to support daily operations and reporting.

What We're Looking For

  • Strong understanding of production processes and manufacturing operations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with SAP.
  • Experience with Workday or similar HR/timekeeping systems.
  • Forklift operation knowledge or experience working closely with material handling teams.
  • Experience in high-volume manufacturing environments.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A hands-on leadership style and willingness to be actively engaged on the production floor.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize competing demands.
  • The ability to work independently while effectively leading and motivating a team.
  • A demonstrated commitment to workplace safety and employee well-being.
  • Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Accountability and confidence in making and standing behind decisions.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and work effectively with employees at all levels.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, plant operations, quality standards, and production metrics.
  • Strong communication and coaching skills focused on developing high-performing teams.

Work Environment

  • Primarily based in a manufacturing production environment with some office responsibilities.
  • This is an active, interactive role that requires significant time spent on the production floor.
  • Frequent walking, standing, and engagement with employees throughout the facility.
  • Occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds.
  • Occasional travel may be required.
