ETL Data EngineerThe Opportunity:
As a data engineer, you know that a good site or system needs the right combination of ETL, data management, automation, clean code, APIs, analytics, and infrastructure to develop a user-focused solution. We’re looking for a data engineer with the software engineering skills it takes to help identify potential risks, contribute to solution development, and create automated, efficient, and effective systems for our clients.
As a data engineer at Booz Allen, you’ll use your skills and experience to help build advanced technology solutions and implement data engineering activities on some of the most mission-driven projects in the industry. You’ll develop and deploy the pipelines and platforms that organize and make disparate data meaningful.

You Have:
- 5+ years of experience with relational databases and SQL
- Experience with scripting languages to automate tasks, including writing custom transformations and interfaces
- Experience building efficient and scalable ETL pipelines
- Experience with data modeling principles and data quality concepts
- Ability to work with little or no supervision
- TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
- HS diploma or GED
Nice If You Have:
- Experience with Oracle
- Experience with ETL tools
- Experience with metadata stores with pointers to unstructured content
- Experience with unstructured datastores
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Possession of excellent corporate communication skills
- AWS Data Engineer or Azure Data Engineer Certification
