Key Responsibilities

Change Strategy & Transformation Leadership

  • Lead and drive change strategy for large-scale transformations, helping leaders align around the change, prepare the organization, manage resistance, reinforce adoption, and realize value.
  • Assess who is impacted, what will change, where adoption risks exist, and what leaders and teams need to be ready.
  • Develop and execute practical change strategies, stakeholder engagement plans, readiness approaches, resistance management plans, and sustainment plans.
  • Consult on lower-impact initiatives by tailoring change support to the size, complexity, stakeholder impact, and adoption risk of the change.
  • Bring the people side of change into initiative planning, governance routines, change risk management, and executive decision-making.

Adoption, Readiness & Sustainment

  • Help leaders and impacted teams understand why the change matters, what will be different, how they will be supported, and how success will be measured.

  • Assess and report business readiness throughout the change and delivery lifecycle, including leader readiness, stakeholder awareness, process readiness, training readiness, operational readiness, and sustainment risks.
  • Partner with HR, communications, training, business stakeholders, technology, and delivery teams to shape messaging, learning plans, engagement materials, reinforcement activities, and transition support.
  • Define sustainment approaches that help new behaviors, processes, tools, and ways of working take hold after implementation.

Change Metrics & Value Realization

  • Create change reporting that gives leaders clear visibility into adoption, readiness, resistance, sustainment, and expected benefits.
  • Define and track practical measures of adoption, readiness, engagement, training, and value realization.
  • Surface adoption risks, barriers, and decision needs early so leaders can act before outcomes are compromised.

Business Outcomes & Benefits

  • Partner with business sponsors and delivery leaders to connect change activities to business outcomes, value drivers, and expected benefits.
  • Help define measurable adoption and business outcome indicators that show whether the organization is realizing value from the change.
  • Provide insight into adoption or readiness gaps that may create risk to business outcomes, operational performance, customer experience, or expected benefits.

Partnership, Influence & Advisory Support

  • Serve as a trusted change advisor to business, technology, HR, communications, training, finance, risk, and delivery leaders.
  • Shape executive discussions by translating stakeholder impacts, adoption risks, readiness insights, and business implications into clear options and recommendations.
  • Serve as a liaison between leadership, business stakeholders, and initiative teams to ensure change priorities, adoption needs, and business outcomes remain aligned.
  • Coach and mentor project managers, project leaders, business partners, and team members on change management best practices, helping build broader organizational understanding and consistent application of the discipline across initiatives.
  • Represent the EPMO in enterprise forums, steering committees, and governance bodies as the voice for adoption, readiness, and realized value.
