As part of the Head, Neck and Otology Marketing team, you will help shape the future of nerve monitoring—an important portfolio that supports surgeons in protecting nerves and preserving patients’ quality of life. This is a high-visibility opportunity to help drive strategy and commercial execution in a business with strong momentum and a bold vision for the future. In this role, you will lead U.S. downstream marketing for Medtronic ENT’s nerve monitoring portfolio, turning customer insights and business priorities into strategies that drive adoption, field execution, and growth. You will work across marketing, sales, medical education, sales training, and cross-functional teams to enable the field and support long-term portfolio success. The Sr. Product Manager, US Downstream Nerve Monitoring Marketing will serve as the U.S. downstream marketing lead, product line expert, and key business partner responsible for developing strategies that strengthen field execution, customer engagement, and long-term portfolio performance. This role reports to the Sr. Director, Head, Neck, and Otology Marketing and is based in
Jacksonville, FL.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned
- Lead U.S. downstream marketing strategy for the nerve monitoring portfolio, aligning customer needs, market insights, and business priorities to drive growth.
- Develop annual business plans, commercial initiatives, messaging, positioning, value propositions, claims, and pricing strategies.
- Use market research, competitive intelligence, customer feedback, and performance data to identify opportunities and inform commercial decisions.
- Support portfolio lifecycle strategy, including product line changes, new product development, acquisition opportunities, and discontinuation decisions.
- Lead service and repair program strategy and execution to improve customer experience, portfolio performance, and commercial outcomes.
- Prepare forecasts, budgets, and business analyses to support planning and execution.
- Build strong relationships with key opinion leaders to inform strategy, education priorities, and customer engagement.
- Partner with the U.S. field sales organization to deliver insights, tools, training resources, collateral, and promotional programs.
- Collaborate with Medical Education and Sales Training to support current procedural areas and identify adjacent growth opportunities.
- Perform duties in compliance with the Medtronic Quality System, environmental, health and safety related site rules, policies, or governmental regulations.
- Ability to travel up to 40% within the U.S.
Must Have: Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in marketing, sales, product management or consulting, or Masters’ degree with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience.
Nice to Have
- Medical device, surgical, ENT, neuro, or nerve monitoring experience.
- Experience developing downstream marketing strategies, commercial plans, and sales enablement programs.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate market insights, customer feedback, and business performance into clear recommendations.
- Strong executive communication skills, including clear storytelling, presentation development, and data-driven recommendations.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, growth-oriented business.
- Field- and customer-oriented mindset with the ability to partner effectively with sales, clinicians, and cross-functional teams.
- Experience building relationships with KOLs, physicians, or clinical stakeholders.
