About The Role
We provide our clients with a comprehensive view of strategic communications that leverages our integrated suite of services, including financial communications, corporate reputation, transaction communications and public affairs in all the major markets around the world.
The Senior Consultant will develop in-depth knowledge of clients' objectives and challenges to design and implement innovative strategies to assist them through current situations and prepare them for the future. Responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to, the following:
What You’ll Do
- Provide research, help plan and develop comprehensive communication programs
- Write and edit a variety of client materials (e.g., strategic memos, press releases, presentations, emails, media reports, media pitches, social media posts and content, etc.) under the direction of senior team members
- Assist with ongoing program measurement and progress report development
- Research appropriate target media for clients, and develop and maintain media lists
- Develop and evaluate appropriate editorial calendar opportunities
- Evaluate campaign results against objectives
- Contribute to the professional development and performance review process for interns, as needed
- Support billing procedures to ensure timely and accurate delivery of client invoices
- Actively participate in the generation of new business proposals and presentations
- Support the development, production and marketing of thought leadership surrounding emerging trends and issues

What You Will Need to Succeed
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, political science, public health, business or related field
- 2+ years of previous experience in communications agency, and/or state/federal government experience
- This role requires travel to clients and FTI office(s)
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; this position does not provide visa sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in the Healthcare & Life Sciences sector preferred
- Capitol Hill experience preferred
- Possess superior research, writing, editing skills and oral presentation skills
- Solid experience with popular blogging tools, publishing software and other social media platforms (i.e., Twitter)
- Strong time and priority management skills and an ability to effectively juggle multiple client projects
- A strong work ethic and an ability to be a self-starter
- Proven project management skills and the ability to proactively support key client relationships
- Desire and ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking, deadline-oriented dynamic environment with regular change
- Understanding of Associated Press Style Guidelines
- Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel and Word
Compensation
Minimum Pay: $80,000 Maximum Pay: $119,000
