The People Operations Coordinator is responsible for delivering operational HR support and workforce training coordination for manufacturing employees across the Chelmsford manufacturing site. This role helps ensure employees have an exceptional experience from their first day through ongoing development while supporting manufacturing workforce readiness, training compliance, operational excellence, and long-term site growth.

What You'll Do
- Onboarding & New Hire Experience
- Coordinate all aspects of manufacturing employee onboarding, including pre-boarding, orientation scheduling, first-day logistics, training plans, and new hire follow-up.
- Partner with key stakeholders to ensure a smooth transition from candidate to employee.
- Support new hire orientation sessions and ensure employees receive the information, resources, and guidance needed to succeed.
- Track completion of onboarding requirements, training milestones, and qualification activities.
- Training Coordination & Workforce Readiness
- Coordinate training programs.
- Support training validation, qualification tracking, certification processes, and ongoing employee development documentation.
- Maintain accurate training records, onboarding checklists, and related workforce readiness materials.
- Employee Support & Engagement
- Serve as an employee ambassador and first point of contact for general HR, onboarding, and training-related questions.
- Maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion when handling employee information.
- Gather employee feedback and partner with leadership to improve the employee experience.
- Process Improvement & Program Scalability
- Identify opportunities to improve HR, onboarding, and training processes.
- Assist in developing standard work, job aids, SOPs, and onboarding guides.
- Support implementation of process improvements and automation initiatives.
- Help scale HR and training programs as the site’s workforce grows.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support evolving business needs.
Required Qualifications
- US Citizenship Required
- High School Diploma Required; Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Education, Operations, Manufacturing, or related field, or equivalent experience preferred
- 1–3 years of experience in HR, training coordination, employee onboarding, operations support, or administration
- Experience using HRIS systems (Workday preferred) & Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent organizational and project coordination abilities
- Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Self-starter with a strong sense of ownership
- Adaptable and resourceful
- Passion for helping employees succeed

The expected wage range for a new hire into this position is $27 to $38.
- Actual wage offered may vary depending on work location, experience, education, training, external market data, internal pay equity, or other bona fide factors.
- This position qualifies for a discretionary performance-based bonus which is based on personal and company factors.
