This position is fully in office M-F in Coppell, TX, a suburb of Dallas.

Job Summary

The Escrow Support Processor is primarily responsible for providing centralized clerical processing of all documents connected with the initiation or closing of residential escrows.

Primary Job Responsibilities

  • Receives, reviews and processes high volume of escrow-related documents.
  • Effectively communicates with various sources, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and company policies.
  • Assists in facilitating smooth and on-time closing transactions.
  • Maintains accurate records and provides support to branch locations.
  • Meticulously reviews documents for accuracy, completeness and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Distributes title commitments and preliminary title reports with required documentation to appropriate parties.
  • Obtains and document pre-closing information, conduct pre-closing audit, order HOA Statements (if applicable), review of real estate contracts, addendums and lender title requests.
  • Conducts post close audits and delivery of lender submission packages to transaction parties.
  • Reviews and submit transactional recording documents per County requirements.
  • Identifies, logs and assists in resolution of curative requirements.
  • Distributes escrow checks with applicable documentation to appropriate parties.
  • Prepares and delivers title insurance policies within designated timeframes.
  • Images documents in compliance with document retention policy
  • Files document packages
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Physical Requirements: Ability to exert minimal force of 25 pounds to carry, lift, push, pull and otherwise move objects. On occasions, may have to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds.

Required Education/Experience

  • Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1-3 years data entry experience
  • Title & escrow insurance experience a plus
  • Resident License may be required

Required Skills/Knowledge

  • Effective communication skills are essential for liaising with stakeholders, addressing inquiries, resolving any issues or discrepancies that may arise
  • Effective follow up skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to adjust well to change
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required
  • Experience with OneNote and SoftPro is a plus
  • Demonstrates effective collaboration skills to promote teamwork and communication among various departments and stakeholders
  • Shows expertise, proficiency, and comprehensive understanding of title and escrow processes
  • Demonstrates proactive initiative and self-motivation to drive tasks and projects forward independently
  • Exhibits exceptional time management and prioritization skills to efficiently meet deadlines and optimize task workflows

Additional Information

  • This position is office-based, requiring in-office attendance five days a week to foster team collaboration
