SUMMARY: Night Shift

The maintenance mechanic is responsible for analyzing and troubleshooting any mechanical issues related to the machinery throughout the facility. Provide preventive maintenance to insure all equipment is maintained and documented.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Under limited supervision and much decision-making

• Perform routine maintenance on machinery and equipment to minimize downtime and ensure optimal functioning.
• Inspect machines and equipment for potential issues, and address them proactively.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment failures.
• Use various tools and instruments to assess and repair complex systems.
• Installation and Setup
• Assist with the installation of new equipment and machinery.
• Ensure that newly installed equipment operates efficiently and complies with safety standards.
• Follow all safety procedures and protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
• Adhere to company policies and regulatory guidelines to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and inventory management.
• Report any unusual occurrences, unsafe conditions, or needed repairs to supervisors or management.
• Work with other maintenance technicians, operators, and engineering staff to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss equipment performance and suggest improvements.
• Monitor and maintain proper operation of tools and machines.
• Assist with calibration and adjustment of machines to ensure consistent product quality.

OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures. Report all unsafe activities to supervisor and/or Human Resources.
• Assist in the accomplishment of Company goals.
• Helps other employee to accomplish Company goals.
• Performs other duties as may be assigned by department supervisor.
• Participates in the Disaster Recovery plan as required
