Full job description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Greet all vehicles entering the driveway and assist residents and visitors with opening/closing vehicle doors.
- Tag vehicle keys with date & time, make/model, etc.
- Able to effectively park and retrieve cars without causing damage to the vehicle. Ability to drive and operate manual and automatic transmission vehicles.
- Assist residents or visitors with packages or luggage. Deliver packages received in the loading dock to corresponding units, areas, departments, or offices.
- Patrol all areas of the property, including the perimeter and interior of the building.
- Verify all visitors and direct them as appropriate.
- Ensure all building doors and windows are closed and secure at the appropriate designated times.
- Document and report all vehicle incidents such as damage, accidents, theft, missing articles, etc.
- Responsible for reporting security or safety concerns, hazards, and potential security issues to their supervisor or the manager onsite.
- Monitor camera feeds and conduct daily physical hazard inspections.
- Maintain confidentiality of resident information.
- Assist during emergencies.
- Ensure compliance with company and client policies and procedures.
- Ability to work early hours, nights, weekends, holidays, or as needed with limited advanced notice.
- Travel to other communities if needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to maintain consistent and regular attendance.
- Must function independently and have flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively with the residents, other team members, and support agencies.
- Must be able to work safely in different weather conditions, including but not limited to extreme heat and cold.
- Must hold a valid and applicable state driver’s license with no moving violations in the past five (5) years. Must submit a current copy (not older than three months) of the Department of Motor Vehicles Driving Record Report. From time to time, a new records request may be made.
