PAY: $20.00 - $25.00/ Hourly DOE

The Assistant Practice Manager serves as the on-site operational leader for the hospital, partnering closely with the Senior Practice Manager, who provides strategic oversight remotely. This role is responsible for ensuring the hospital operates efficiently each day, maintaining a positive client and team experience, and proactively identifying opportunities for improvement. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in an autonomous environment, exercises sound judgment, and takes ownership of daily operations without requiring constant direction.

Key Responsibilities Serve as the primary on-site leader, ensuring smooth day-to-day hospital operations in the absence of the Senior Practice Manager. Demonstrate initiative by identifying operational challenges and implementing solutions before issues escalate. Make independent, well-informed decisions while recognizing when escalation to the Senior Practice Manager is appropriate. Maintain a high standard of accountability for client experience, patient care support, team engagement, and operational efficiency. Coach, mentor, and support team members through real-time feedback, training, and accountability conversations. Lead daily huddles, assign priorities, and ensure workflow remains efficient throughout the day. Monitor staffing levels, scheduling, workflow, and labor utilization to support business needs. Ensure compliance with company policies, SOPs, OSHA standards, and medical documentation expectations. Partner remotely with the Senior Practice Manager through regular communication, providing updates on hospital performance, staffing concerns, client issues, and operational needs. Prepare for routine visits from the Senior Practice Manager by maintaining operational readiness and following through on action plans. Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, continuous improvement, and exceptional client service. Desired Leadership Qualities

The successful candidate will:

Be a highly motivated self-starter who does not wait to be directed before taking action. Demonstrate confidence in making day-to-day operational decisions. Anticipate needs rather than simply responding to problems. Be organized, dependable, and capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously. Communicate proactively and effectively with both the hospital team and remote leadership. Build trust through consistency, professionalism, and accountability. Remain calm and solution-oriented in a fast-paced environment. Take ownership of the hospital's daily success while embracing coaching and collaboration from the Senior Practice Manager. Ideal Candidate

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys leading from the front, is comfortable working independently, and understands that success comes from taking initiative, creating solutions, and maintaining open communication with remote leadership. While the Senior Practice Manager provides guidance, mentorship, and strategic direction, the Assistant Practice Manager is expected to confidently lead the hospital's daily operations and create a positive experience for both clients and team members.
