Summary
We are actively hiring experienced Automotive Technicians - Master EV Technicians! This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-performing dealership service team with strong workflow, modern equipment, and ongoing manufacturer training.
Technicians in this role will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles while delivering high-quality workmanship and efficiency. EV Technicians will focus on advanced electric vehicle systems,(Interior trim, electrical, brakes, and suspension), and emerging automotive technologies.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on customer vehicles efficiently and accurately.
- Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and software to identify mechanical and electrical issues.
- Complete work according to dealership and manufacturer standards.
- Accurately document repair orders and communicate findings with service advisors.
- Maintain productivity levels in a flat rate pay structure.
- Stay current with evolving automotive technology, including EV systems.
- Follow all safety protocols, especially when working with high-voltage EV components.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- At least 3+ years of automotive dealership, repair experience, flat rate candidates.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills, including electrical and drivability concerns.
- Experience with routine maintenance and complex repairs (brakes, suspension, engine, electrical systems).
- ASE certifications (A1–A8, L1, or L3) and/or manufacturer certifications.
- Experience or training in electric and hybrid vehicle systems is highly preferred.
- Ability to efficiently complete work in a flat-rate environment and meet productivity goals.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Basic computer skills for diagnostics and repair documentation.
Additional Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Ability to successfully complete pre-employment requirements, including background check, motor vehicle record (MVR) review, and drug screening.
Compensation
- $30.00 to $40.00 +
Schedule
- Full Time
- Monday through Saturday availability
- Sundays off
