Job Details:
The (HYBRID) Staff Accountant II position involves high volume, complex transaction processing. This can include invoices, bank transactions, or refunds processing. This position may also be involved in reviewing the work of others or making recommendations for improvements. The workflow surrounding this position is a fast-paced environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness. NOTE: This hybrid role will report to the Bed Quarters location in Houston, TX 1-4 times each month and may work remotely the remainder of the month.
Essential Responsibilities
- Partner closely with stakeholders to review and validate financial results before close finalization, ensuring accuracy, alignment, and timely incorporation of business insights.
- Maintain financial records and ensure that financial transactions are properly recorded
- Ensure the accuracy of entries to ledger accounts and reconcile subsidiary ledger accounts to the general ledger
- Ability to handle confidential information in a discreet, professional manner
- Review work of others to ensure completeness and accuracy ahead of manager
- Resolve and research accounting questions for both internal and external customers
- Complete all required training modules and certifications prior to the due date
- Ensure all safety policies and procedures are followed to ensure a safe work environment for all
- Communicate professionally with all internal and external contacts
- Follow all Company policies and execute Company standards on appearance and functionality as well as appropriate brand representation
- Communicate any concerns or issues to leadership to ensure proper efficiency of department and Company operations
Non-Essential Responsibilities
- Complete other projects and special assignments as requested by Supervisor and/or Senior Management
- Contribute ideas on ways to optimize or improve the team, the department, and the Company
- Execute Company initiatives and other activities requested by Supervisor
- Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities
Education
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred
- Bachelor's Degree Accounting, related field, and/or equivalent experience preferred
Professional Experience
- 4+ Years Accounting experience required and
- 1+ Years Staff Accounting experience required

Compensation
Competitive salary range of $60,000 - $70,000 * depending on qualifications and experience. For eligible Leadership and individual contributor roles, additional bonus opportunities may be available and awarded at the discretion of the Company.
