Senior OFS Developer at Clera — Remote

About the role

You will design, develop, and modify software in alignment with established standards and best practices. You’ll act as a technical lead, mentoring junior developers and recommending implementation approaches to ensure high-quality outcomes. The role involves leading and participating in code reviews, collaborating with architects, analysts, project managers, and business stakeholders to align on technical direction, priorities, and delivery timelines. This position emphasizes clear communication across technical and non-technical teams and operates within a remote, contract-based environment to support cross-functional success.

What you’ll do

• Develop and maintain enterprise-grade software features with a focus on reliability and maintainability.
• Lead technical decisions, review code, and drive quality and architectural standards.
• Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering team growth and best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical direction and ensure alignment with project goals.
• Communicate effectively across time zones and with stakeholders to manage expectations and deliver results.

What we’re looking for

• 5+ years of software development experience in an enterprise or similar setting.
• Proven technical leadership and experience mentoring junior developers.
• Experience leading and participating in code reviews to ensure adherence to standards and architectural guidelines.
• Ability to thrive in a remote, contract-based environment with strong self-management and communication skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for collaboration with architects, analysts, PMs, and business stakeholders.
• Experience following established standards and best practices in software design and development.
