About The Opportunity
A Die Cut Maintenance Technician ensures the optimal operation of die-cutting machinery (such as Bobst presses). Responsibilities include performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical failures, sharpening or replacing defective dies, and making precision machine adjustments to meet production quality and safety standards. Essential Job Duties:
- Demonstrate commitment to safety and perform job duties in accordance with company safety policies and procedures
- Plan, schedule and monitor maintenance projects and repairs
- Ensure all work orders are completed on time and meets expectations of the requested
- Identify current and future needs and problems and develop plan to maintain
- Evaluate outside services and coordinate service as needs arise
- Design, fabricate and weld projects as needed
- Help coordinate special building projects, additions, and equipment installations with management
- Help develop annual maintenance budget with management
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for maintenance department
- Maintain recordkeeping of all maintenance work orders and projects
- Actively participate in Lean manufacturing initiatives
- Execute routine inspections, cleaning, lubrication, and preventative maintenance to prevent unexpected breakdowns
- Assist with all training (Operators, Back-up Operators, and Helpers) within the department
- Previous experience operating or repairing industrial die-cutting equipment
- Must be able to stand for long periods, lift heavy materials, and work in a fast-paced, sometimes noisy manufacturing environment P
- Perform other duties as assigned by management

- Good organizational skills and ability to prioritize workload
- Proficient in Microsoft Office computer applications
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent. Formal vocational training or a degree in manufacturing, industrial technology, or a related field is preferred but not required
