Summary The Airworthiness Directive (AD) Compliance & Administration Specialist has the responsibility to ensure Allegiant remains in compliance to Title 14 of the Code of Federal Regulations (14 CFR) part 39, Airworthiness Directives by assisting in the management activities involved in planning, support, provisioning, implementation, recoding, and auditing of Airworthiness Directives, by the documented AD management process. The AD Compliance & Administration Specialist assists in the processing of ADs from the release of the AD NPRM through the entire life cycle of the AD process to ensure all applicable ADs have been addressed. Visa Sponsorship Available: No Minimum Requirements Combination of Education and Experience will be considered. Must be authorized to work in the US as defined by the Immigration Act of 1986. Must pass a Criminal Background Check. Education: High School Diploma/GED Education Details: Associate's degree or higher in a related field preferred. Years of Experience: Minimum five (5) years of experience in a technical field or has performed the Airworthiness Directive role elsewhere.

Preferred Requirements

  • Associate's degree or higher in a related field.
  • Three (3) years of experience working in an airline engineering department.
  • Knowledge of various engineering documents.

Job Duties

  • Responsible for evaluation, verification and audit of AD setup and compliance for induction aircraft.
  • Prepare AD package for inductions to support OpSpec requirements.
  • Coordinate with heavy maintenance and FIT for any required actions at induction for compliance.
  • Evaluate recently released ADs to determine applicability to Allegiant Air.
  • Ensure risk assessment is completed upon AD receipt to action in timely manner.
  • Perform an initial review of applicable AD which includes, assessment of priority, impact to Allegiant’s fleet of aircraft, 1st aircraft due, and the expected fallout.
  • Set-up the AD time limits in the company computer system.
  • Present the status of the AD as required to management.
  • Perform AD reviews as needed to justify part purchases and ferry flights.
  • Review engineering documents to assist with the document approval process.
  • Model Allegiant’s customer service standards in personal actions and when providing direction.
  • Other duties as assigned by the manager.
