Why work at Higgsfield AI?

The Role

Higgsfield AI is seeking a Revenue Accountant to support our rapidly growing global finance organization.

As the business continues to scale, we're looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented accounting professional to own the accounts receivable process end-to-end. You'll work closely with Finance, Sales, Customer Success, and Legal to ensure timely billing, accurate revenue support, and an exceptional customer experience.

The ideal candidate thrives in high-growth environments, enjoys improving processes, and is passionate about building scalable financial operations.

What You'll Do

Billing & Order-to-Cash

  • Own the invoicing process end-to-end - generate accurate billing schedules and invoices on time, proactively monitor accounts for non-payment, delayed payment, and irregularities, and maintain AR aging and collections documentation to ensure prompt follow-up with customers and internal teams
  • Lead AR collections - prioritize and manage accounts, follow collection guidelines to ensure timely escalation, and collaborate cross-functionally to drive dispute resolution and payment plan negotiations
  • Own customer and payment inquiries - proactively resolve billing questions such as account statements, payment history, and withholding tax forms, and escalate complex issues promptly
  • Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success and Legal to ensure accurate contract setup and billing
  • Support customer onboarding by ensuring billing information and payment terms are correctly established

Revenue Accounting

  • Support revenue recognition in accordance with ASC 606, with a strong focus on consumption-based revenue recognition
  • Drive month-end close deliverables, including journal entries, revenue and related reconciliations, and flux analysis to support leadership reporting
  • Support audit readiness and assist with the company's first-year financial audit, including preparing schedules and documentation and responding to auditor requests

Build Scalable Processes

  • Identify opportunities to automate and improve billing, collections, and cash application workflows
  • Help develop policies, documentation, and internal controls to support a rapidly growing business
  • Contribute to finance systems optimization and reporting improvements
  • Take on ad-hoc projects and process improvement initiatives as they arise

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 3 - 6 years of progressive accounting experience, including revenue accounting in a SaaS or technology company
  • Strong understanding of ASC 606 and SaaS revenue recognition concepts
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with an emphasis on accuracy and timeliness
  • Familiarity with ERP systems such as NetSuite and revenue automation tools such as Stripe, HubiFi, or Zuora
  • Experience with AI, cloud infrastructure, consumption-based pricing, or usage-based billing models
  • Comfortable using AI-powered tools (e.g., Claude); prior AI experience isn't required, but a willingness to learn and adopt new tools is expected
  • Experience improving accounting processes and implementing automation.
