Animal Emergency & Specialty Center of Chattanooga is now hiring a dedicated, experienced Emergency Veterinarian to join our team as a Medical Director. As our Medical Director , you will lead a growing team of specialty and emergency veterinarians. Working alongside a dedicated leadership team, including a Hospital Administrator, a Director of Clinical Staff, and a Client Service Supervisor, you’ll have the opportunity to combine clinical practice with leadership responsibilities, focusing on clinical excellence, mentorship, and strategic growth. Key Responsibilities: Work on the clinical floor 3–4 days per week Lead, mentor, and grow a team of Veterinarians Conduct annual reviews, host team meetings, develop compliance protocols, and ensure adherence to standards of care Oversee medical staffing plans and align doctor scheduling to patient care needs and operational goals Partner with Hospital Leadership and Regional Operations to drive hospital strategy, ensure regulatory compliance, and achieve financial goals Create and maintain a positive, team-first environment focused on quality medicine and outstanding client service Support Veterinarians’ professional and personal development through coaching and guidance Live and work in scenic Chattanooga!
