Job Description

The Manager of VAS Pricing and Deal Operations will be responsible for driving operational process excellence and building scalable tools for Visa's Value Added Services business. This role sits at the intersection of business operations, financial analysis, and system integration—owning the connections between CPQ, Microsoft Dynamics, and downstream billing, contracting, and reporting systems. This person will bring deep analytical rigor, an audit mindset, and a passion for automation to help the VAS Pricing and Deal Operations team build and support CPQ capabilities across the organization with scale.

The ideal candidate brings a well-rounded financial and operational background, combined with hands-on experience validating system implementations, financial reporting, and business processes. They are a strong communicator—articulate, naturally curious, and comfortable speaking up in meetings—while highly effective in a large, matrixed environment.

Responsibilities

  • Drive validation of end-to-end implementation connecting CPQ, Microsoft Dynamics, and downstream billing, contracting, and reporting—ensuring system changes are tested and validated against business requirements at scale
  • Build independent calculation models to validate system design changes at scale; develop reporting to monitor data quality across large, interconnected systems
  • Own and maintain ongoing validation of the VAS price list—developing deep expertise in all pricing methods and their deployment in CPQ and billing systems—including governance structure
  • Partner with technical teams to define, communicate, and validate system delivery of business requirements; connect data models to system upload processes and ensure end-to-end data integrity
  • Develop and maintain business-driven financial models and forecasts; query system data to measure deal performance and approval metrics against forecast assumptions, analyze key variances, and partner with business owners to highlight key drivers
  • Develop and deliver well-formatted analytical reports and findings to key stakeholders, with clear presentation of analysis methodology and conclusions
  • Provide standard weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting with supporting analytics; provide ad hoc analysis as requested
  • Support OPEX budgeting related to Pricing and Deal Operations
  • Build automation tools using Excel, web-based tools, AI prompt engineering, and agent creation to streamline system support intake, issue resolution, and operational workflows
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration across Pricing Strategy, Product, Sales, Finance, and Commercial Operations—actively breaking down silos and driving alignment

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelors Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD
  • Minimum bachelor's degree or equivalent with focus in finance, economics, business, or MBA
  • 5 or more years of relevant work experience, or at least 3 years with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, or MD)
  • Experience with CPQ systems (e.g., Conga CPQ) and CRM platforms (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics), with understanding of how these systems integrate with billing, contracting, and reporting workflows
  • Strong financial background including working knowledge of GAAP, discounted cash flow analysis, P&L structures, and yield management
  • Demonstrated audit mindset with experience building independent validation models and data quality reporting within large, complex systems
  • Ability to connect data models to system upload processes and validate end-to-end data integrity
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with web-based analytical tools; experience with AI prompt writing
  • Prior experience budgeting OPEX and working with AP functions
  • Articulate and confident communicator—comfortable asking questions, speaking up in meetings, and presenting complex analysis clearly to senior stakeholders
  • Proven experience working with technical teams to translate and validate business requirements against system delivery
  • Track record of operating effectively in large, matrixed organizations—breaking down silos, building consensus, and driving cross-functional alignment
  • Knowledge and experience with Visa products
  • Pricing and/or Deal Desk governance experience
  • Experience building AI agents
  • Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI

The estimated salary range for this position is $134,600.00 to $ 215,300.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
