Primary Duties/Responsibilities:
- The Energy Analyst will be a key part of the SourceOne management team responsible for providing energy consulting support and maintaining good working relationships with all SourceOne customers.
- Directly reporting to Supervisor of Energy Management.
- Professional service to account relationships.
- Building customer relationships as a key member of management team.
- Gathering and consolidating data from varied sources.
- Managing utility information for multiple customers on a daily and monthly basis.
- Validating and verifying customer costs and utilization using rate engines.
- Fielding inquiry requests and managing problem resolution for customer utility-billing issues.
- Coordinating and assisting with new customer account creation.
- Developing customized reports to support specific customer needs.
- Researching and identifying procedures for the authorizations of access to customer’s utility information.
- Providing follow-up with utility representatives and commodity suppliers as needed.
- Supporting administrative needs of the business, including but not limited to, accounting, reporting, the sales process, data entry, back-up phone support, and general administration.
- Supporting project management requests as required by the rest of the upper management team.
Education/Experience/Background:
- BS/BA required preferably in Business, Math, Accounting, Engineering, or relatable field.
- Some energy, utility or related experience is preferred.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Strong analytical/problem solving skills required.
- Attention to details and ability to review materials for accuracy.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Strong telephone etiquette.
- Ability/flexibility to learn and apply new skills.
- Ability to navigate through a variety of computer applications.
- Ability to prioritize work.
- High level of professionalism and integrity.
Pay Range: $65000 to $72000 Per Year.
Eligible for up to 10% Annual Performance Bonus.
