## Job Summary
Job summary:
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add an Operations Trainer to our team.
Reporting to the Training Supervisor, this role will conduct tests and troubleshoot electronic products, components, and systems to ensure production quality standards are met.
What a typical day looks like:
- Deliver hands-on training and coaching for new hires and existing employees on the production floor.
- Conduct onboarding covering Flex culture, ESD, environmental health and safety, quality, ISO requirements, and site procedures.
- Train employees using approved work instructions and demonstrate the correct use of production tools, equipment, machines, and processes.
- Observe trainee performance, verify understanding, document completion, and provide retraining when standards are not met.
- Maintain accurate individual training records, complete training reports, and support training effectiveness audits.
- Complete Train-the-Trainer instruction and build proficiency across assigned manufacturing and assembly processes.
- Support specialized production areas, including clean-room operations, gowning protocols, and Cerebras assembly, as assigned.
- Partner with Engineering, Quality, Safety, and Operations to standardize training practices and improve employee performance, compliance, and production readiness.
- Typically requires an associate degree, military training, or equivalent vocational training or experience.
- Typically requires at least two years of related manufacturing, assembly, technical, or training experience.
- Demonstrates strong technical knowledge across multiple manufacturing or assembly processes.
- Ability to read, understand, interpret, and teach approved work instructions, procedures, diagrams, and production requirements.
- Hands-on experience using production tools and equipment such as scanners, computers, torque tools, microscopes, printers, pick-and-place equipment, or similar machinery.
- Ability to clearly demonstrate technical processes, coach employees, evaluate performance, and provide retraining when needed.
- Basic computer skills with the ability to maintain training records, complete reports, and use spreadsheets or related systems.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English and work across different schedules, production areas, clean-room environments, and changing operational needs.
