JOB DESCRIPTION OVERVIEW
As a Senior Consultant, you will play a strategic leadership role in guiding clients through complex digital transformations, IT infrastructure and support model optimizations. With an elevated level of responsibility and autonomy, you will take charge of large-scale IT strategy projects, lead high-performing teams, and deliver cutting-edge, technology-driven solutions across a portfolio of clients. You will drive ITSM maturity with minimal oversight, manage diverse stakeholder relationships, and significantly contribute to business development initiatives. This role requires a forward-thinking leader who is deeply knowledgeable about emerging technology tools and trends and is driven to advance the firm as an authority in innovative technology solutions. You will also be instrumental in identifying new opportunities for growth, fostering relationships with key clients, and advancing the firm’s reputation in the technology space.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES Lead and manage solution set for IT support and digital transformation projects. Provide leadership over IT service management (ITSM) and support toolset to include but not limited to; ticketing/ITSM platform, Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM) platform), Backup platform, EDR/MDR, compliance and knowledge management and documentation, and AI / Automation tools Take full ownership of advancing and optimizing client IT environments covering Infrastructure (Firewall, Route/Switch) and Platform (Azure, Cloud, M365 and Virtual environments) Lead the design and execution of large-scale technology solutions, working with senior client executives to align IT strategies with broader business goals Guide teams in implementing innovative IT infrastructures, optimizing operations, and navigating challenges such as cloud adoption, cybersecurity, and automation Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and with measurable impact on client success Your ability to translate complex IT concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences will be essential in ensuring alignment with clients Maintain personal billable utilization at the rate of 1700 hours per year
Develop technology-focused client deliverables. Lead the creation of high-level, client-ready deliverables that effectively communicate complex IT strategies, architectures, and business value Craft detailed roadmaps, IT strategy documents, system architecture diagrams, operating models that align with client needs and business objectives Oversee the development of sophisticated presentations and reports that demonstrate how proposed solutions will drive operational efficiency, enhance IT capabilities, and support business growth
Lead data collection, IT analysis, and solution design. Take the lead in conducting in-depth technical assessments, system audits, and IT performance evaluations to uncover opportunities for optimization and transformation Designing innovative technology solutions and system architectures that address client needs while staying at the forefront of industry trends such as AI, machine learning, and cloud computing Your technical expertise will be crucial in designing solutions that deliver measurable ROI and future-proof IT infrastructure Lead business development and client relationship growth. Achieve annual sales target, as communicated separately Have a hands-on role in expanding the firm’s client base by leveraging your professional network and technical expertise to identify opportunities for new business within existing relationships, build new client connections, and expand the firm’s presence in target markets Lead proposal development, present tailored IT solutions, and help secure new contracts Influence senior IT executives and position the firm as a leader in technology
Mentor and develop junior team members. Actively mentor and develop junior consultants, fostering a collaborative team environment Provide guidance on project management, client interaction, and skill development Foster a culture of continuous learning, to help cultivate the next generation of leaders within the firm
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE 6+ years of engineering experience or equivalent work experience Bachelor’s degree in relevant field Proven experience leading the administration and support of Enterprise IT environments Proven experience leading projects covering IT strategy, support model, digital transformation, and/ or enterprise optimization projects Strong leadership skills with experience in managing teams, mentoring junior staff, and overseeing client engagements Extensive expertise in modern IT trends, including cloud computing, AI, machine learning, data analytics, and cybersecurity Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, with a strong ability to create technical roadmaps, models, and presentations Demonstrated success in business development, including client acquisition, proposal writing, and growing client relationships Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and present complex concepts to senior-level stakeholders Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to design innovative IT solutions that drive business outcomes Proven ability to manage and execute multiple, concurrent projects while maintaining high-quality results Preferred: Masters or equivalent post graduate degree (or post-graduate degree in process Preferred: CCNA, CCNP, Azure, M365 certifications Please note: This application may be reviewed in part by automated systems to help identify qualified candidates.
